Like many associations, the Marine Corps Association and Foundation was faced with a tough economy. This forced the Foundation to identify new and transformative ways to reduce expenses and improve productivity.
After experiencing rapid growth, Trex encountered new opportunities and challenges. Trex was faced with obstacles in acquiring, deploying, and managing its print hardware. Multiple leases of varying expiration dates and no formal print strategy burdened an already strained IT staff and created downtime in critical departments.
VCMI wanted to improve their marketing and communications to their members and community, to grow and more effectively spread their message. Measuring the return on investment of the current communication strategy proved challenging. While convenient, their current print fleet was costly to maintain, and the funds used for printing could have been allocated more effectively within the church budget.
